Ask The FreeIQ Guy - Paid Downloadable Files
In this last question, Rachel asks…
"Hello - we are trying to work out how to provide our 7 part coaching program in PDF format to customers on FreeIQ. We have uploaded the free sample (lesson one) but how do we provide the paid content remaining 6 lessons?
What's the process of getting the pdf products to the client?
Thank you
Rachel"
Rachel:
What you can do is create a ZIP file of the entire set of 7 PDF lessons. Then it is simply a matter of creating a new Paid Product in FreeIQ. Here are the steps.
- Go to your Account Manager
- Click on the Products Tab
- Click on the Add Products Tab
- Click on the Add Paid Products button
- In the drop down list - select "Other downloadable File"
- Fill in the details regarding the description, price, etc. Click Continue
- On the next page, you can select the "Preview information". This can be your video or audio which promoted your Free Lesson One. Or, you could create a free video sales presentation for the course and upload that. The basic premise here is that this preview should be something that will help convince people to purchase your course. Once done click continue.
- Then on the last page, you need to upload the entire set of PDF's in a zip / compressed file. Once done - click continue and your paid product should now be done.
Now when people purchase your course through FreeIQ.com, you get paid and they get a ZIP/compressed file with all of your lessons. Another thought would be to offer the Free lesson as a downloadable PDF file as you are doing currently. Then, when you deliver the whole course, include ALL 7 lessons in just one PDF file. That way you and your customers don't have to mess with zipping and unzipping a compressed file. Unless you have a compelling reason to have seven separate files to deliver each lesson individually, combining it all into a 7 lesson PDF would be the most simple.
If you still have questions, post a comment here and I'll get back to you.
