Does FreeIQ integrate with GetResponse? I don't have Aweber.
In this episode of "Ask Dan - The Free IQ Guy" - Gamy Asked another question, this time about the email opt in that is allowed on the product and author pages.
Question:
Hi,
Excellent video for showing us the Aweber Integration with our FreeIQ Author Page. I have two questions
1. Will FreeIQ consider using Getresponse in future, as I have an
Getresponse but not Aweber.
2. If I am using the FreeIQ Free IQ Email Opt in list now, will we
get to have the subscribers contacts if they opt in via Free IQ
Optin list ?
thank you
Gamy
Answer:
1. FreeIQ is definitely open to adding more autoresponder systems as it matures. My recommendation is to click on the FreeIQ Feedback link at the top of the FreeIQ.com website and submit this as a feature request. The more GetResponse users who ask for this, the more likely they will support this feature.
2. If you don't have Aweber or 1ShoppingCart, you can still use the opt-in feature that FreeIQ provides. This doesn't add your visitor to the FreeIQ mailing list. YOU will actually receive an email along with the contact information telling you somebody subscribed to YOUR list. But this is nothing more than an email to the email account you used when signing up for FreeIQ.
My recommendation:
Once you get the email notification telling you someone has opted into your FreeIQ list, add a subscriber in GetResponse. You may have to manually send them an email saying thanks for opting in through FreeIQ and give them the link for a double opt-in to get them fully into your GetResponse system. From there, you should be able to follow-up with them as you do any other subscriber. Unfortunately, since I am not a GetResponse user, I cannot provide specific instructions on how to do this.
Request for help: If any GetResponse users can tell us specifically how to add a subscriber and trigger the opt-in confirmation email to get the DOUBLE opt-in, leave a comment here.

Hi Dan,
thank you for your reply, and I have submitted my request to FreeIQ to include Getresponse auto-responder. I know many people will benefit if this is through.

Hi Dan,
I have this question about FreeIQ affiliate links where we can create and edit from any products we wish to promote on our websites.
However, though you have created your own unique affiliate link, when you send people to the FreeIQ page using this unique affiliate link, I noticed that your visitor can actually edit the affiliate to be theirs and purchase the product on their own account. Can they actually do that? Just an observation. I am sure many people will be delighted to know.
Best Regards
