Brad Fallon Welcomes the first of the FreeIQ.com Affiliates

Brad sent this introductory email to the first batch of affiliates that signed up in the first week of FreeIQ.com going live:

"Dear Free IQ Founding Affiliate,

As you know by now, Free IQ is live and YOU are one of the very first, charter member, founding affiliates.

So . . . Welcome!

You should probably save this email because in a couple years you can prove that you were there on the very first day.

And I want to tell you that I appreciate everyone's help so far. We're getting tons of feedback and suggestions and our entire team is working very hard to get ready to support your efforts with Free IQ. We've already implemented some changes based on user feedback and we have many more great enhancements coming soon.

To give you an idea, we already have more than 30 full-time people now, including programming and development, QA testing, design and usability, content acquisition and support, technical support, training, and administration.

Next week we'll be starting free ongoing training calls. I'm bringing in some of the world's best information marketers and affiliate marketers to teach the very best cutting-edge strategies that are available at any price, anywhere. And it will all be free for our Affiliates. In the coming days I'll be announcing the speakers, trainers and schedule. But the first one is scheduled for next Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. Eastern. And of course it will be recorded so you can watch or listen anytime. And we'll be archiving all of training materials by topic and skill level. So whether you're brand new to internet marketing or a seasoned expert, we'll have what you need, when you need it.

Right now, of course, Free IQ needs quality content. So help us bring it on! That's what beta is all about. You can upload, FTP it to us, or just mail it to us and our content team will load it for you. One of the best ways to take advantage of the opportunity with Free IQ is to go find quality content providers and offer to help them create and market information products with their existing expertise and share in the profits.

If you like to do affiliate marketing and already have web sites or lists on certain topics, let us know what kinds of content you'd like to see and we'll put our content acquisition team to work on it.

There is so much valuable content out there . . . .

Right now, I'm in San Francisco at Web 2.0 where our CXO (Chief eXperience Officer) just finished speaking. Last night we had dinner with Robert Scoble, the author of Naked Conversations, and talked about how online video is changing the world. And we haven't seen anything yet.

By the way, Naked Conversations is a great book about how companies need to be more transparent, use blogging, and have real — authentic — conversations with their customers. I agree. The days of trying to filter all your messaging through corporate communications departments are over. And of course our employees will be talking with everyone on our corporate blog at www.FreeIQTeam.com. If you visit the corporate blog, there's a photo of Robert and me.

Things are definitely changing.

YouTube seemed to catch everyone by surprise. But if you think about it, it's just like everything else, right?

Like email. People used to say, "Do you have email?" all the time.

First, only a few geeks had it. Then a bunch of kids. Then some people start to wonder if it's good for "real business." Then, every business has it.

Same thing with web sites. Business people used to say, "Do you have a web site?"

A few years from now, no one will say, "That was a great presentation. Do you have a copy of it on your web site?"

Whether you're a Content Provider or an Affiliate or both, we appreciate your help during the beta launch of the site. If you find a bug, let us know. We're fixing things every day and releasing a new version about once a week.

In the coming weeks, we'll be creating all kinds of tutorials and online help files. If you want to make some too, let us know and we'll link to them. That's another way you can drive more traffic to your own web site.

So thanks for joining Free IQ. And thanks for your help and support during the beta phase of our project. I think it might really change things and I'm glad you were here from Day One.

Upload your videos, send us a link, and we really will . . .

See YOU soon!

Brad Fallon
