Opportunity.com - John Reese - Too good to be true?
A friend of mine from Facebook just sent me the following email regarding John Reese's Opportunity.com program.
Is this a business that can be trusted? I'm in really bad shape financially and it would be perfect if money would start rolling in right away. But, this sounds too good to be true.
Do you stand up for this company??
David
Here was my response:
David:
Can the business be trusted? Yes. If you don't like what you get, ask for a refund, you'll get it. I've spoken to John Reese on the phone privately a couple years back. He makes his living both DOING affiliate marketing and teaching it. I'm confident he makes way more money doing it than teaching.
Do the techniques work? Yes. But it's not like pushing a button and having money roll in. It does take work. As far as starting a business - affiliate marketing is one that requires the least amount of $$ to begin. Try opening a store at the mall, or some other bricks and mortar local business. This really can be started on a shoestring.
The whole concept involves finding affiliate programs that will pay you when someone you refer busy something. This is not a new concept and there are tens of thousands of affiliate programs you can promote. Amazon has an affiliate program, so it is definitely a mainstream concept.
I don't believe you can pay this guy $40 bucks a month and have money start piling in. You would need to go through the training and DO what is taught. And depending on your current computer savy it may take a bit of a learning curve.
Finding things to promote is easy. Getting web visitors to the offer and having them buy is where the work comes in. I believe the training will cover all that you'd need to get started and build a business out of it.
And again - if you dive in and find that it's not for you or overwhelming - then ask for a refund or cancel. The worst thing you could do is spend $40 a month and not implement.
I've been making a living online for the past 5 years so it is possible. And despite my experience level being what many would consider advanced, for $40 bucks a month it's worth it for me to join as well.
In the end - if you are flat broke - a job is a more reliable way to bring in money assuming you can find a job. If you can risk a few hundred bucks and have time to dig into the training and implement like crazy - this IS the real deal.
Hope this helps.
