FreeIQ - Three levels of Accounts
This will be a short and sweet post. Not too complex, but just covering the basics.
There are three levels of accounts or ways you can participate in FreeIQ.com.
- No account - this is the most basic way you can use FreeIQ. In this mode, you are simply treating FreeIQ as a search engine to look for information that you would find useful or educational. The great part about it is that it's FREE and you can search, watch, listen and read as much as you want for as long as you want. There are NO limits to the amount of video's you can watch, audio you can listen to or Adobe PDF ebooks, white papers and free reports you can read.
- Basic Account - The next step up in Free IQ land is to actually sign up and create an account. This allows you a few options that don't exist for those without an account.
- First off, having an account allows you to rank or rate the content. This is the power of FreeIQ.com. The users along with some other fancy algorithm's get to determine who's content is best and therefore who shows up highest in the search results.
- Second, having a basic account allows you to set up your own "Author Page". Kind of like your personal home page. You can add free products you wish to share with the world.
- On that Author page, you can post a picture and even get a subscription tool that will allow users to join YOUR list. (not some FreeIQ list, but your actual email list. Right out of the box, aWeber and 1ShoppingCart are supported, or FreeIQ can just send an email to your personal email account anytime someone "subscribes" to your list. Consider it a mini sales page if you will.
- By default, your "Author Page" is freeiq.com/v/Your_user_ID. But you can create a custom name or URL for your Author Page. A nice feature to have.
- You can also keep track of products you have purchased
- You can make a Favorites list of the content you want to revisit again.
- Lastly, having an account allows you to share the great content you have found with others. A "tell a friend" feature.
- Upgraded account - this is required if you want to earn some money….and who doesn't. Here's what an upgraded account requires and then allows you to do.
- The upgraded account will require you to put in some more personal information. Full name, physical address and either banking information or paypal information. This is required so Free IQ knows how to pay you the money you make.
- An upgraded account allows you to: Post content for sale.
- Be set up as an affiliate. I'll get into more detail about this in a later post, but let's just say you can get your affiliate links to send people to the home page, the signup for FreeIQ.com page or directly to content that you want to refer people to.
- With an upgraded account, you will also be able to review your Stats. How many Sales you've made, how many affiliates you have in the first and second tier and how many leads you have generated. Leads are brand new and I'm trying to get clarification on it. My best guess right now is that a lead is someone who came to FreeIQ.com through your link and got "cookied" or claimed by you. Anything they buy or sell in the future, you get a piece of.
